Hahndorf Resort is the accommodation at the congress venue and is all within walking distance to the convention centre (note: The walking distance varies depending on the room and can include walking uphill). The resort is nestled on 13 hectares of scenic rolling hills and bushland. It offers modern accommodation and has an on-site bistro open for lunch and dinner (Wednesday – Sunday).
All the rooms have a minimum of a queen bed, kitchenette facilities, air conditioning and walk in shower. Apartment style units have a separate living space and larger kitchen area.
All the resort units have a parking space for one car and the convention centre has ample parking for anyone who is unable to walk to the venue.
Please ensure you list in the accommodation special requirements if you are unable to walk short distances.

Registration/Social Function Cancellations
All alterations or cancellations to your registration must be made in writing and will be acknowledged by email. Notification should be sent to: roadscongress@confco.com.au
An administration charge of $110.00 will be made to any participant cancelling before Friday 27 September 2019. Cancellations received after Friday 27 September 2019 will be required to pay full registration fees. However, if you are unable to attend, substitutes are welcome at no additional cost.
By submitting your registration, you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.
Accommodation Cancellations
Bookings are subject to availability and should be made prior to 18 October 2019. All cancellations or amendments must be made in writing to Conference Co-ordinators at roadscongress@confco.com.au and will be acknowledged by email.
Please note your credit card details are required to guarantee your room. Neither Conference Co-ordinators nor the hotel will make any charges against your credit card unless you fail to give 21 days notice in writing of your cancellation. Full payment of your account will be required at the time of your departure.
Tuesday 19 November - $120 per person
Today we experience what Hahndorf has to offer, starting with the unique hands on opportunity of constructing your own apple strudel with the chef at the iconic Hahndorf Inn. We then travel to the Hahndorf Academy where there is the ever changing panorama of contemporary visual art. Lunch will be at Udder Delights to enjoy handmade artisan products all made locally at their cheese factory in Lobethal, Adelaide Hills.
After lunch you walk the streets of Hahndorf, the oldest German Village to learn about the culture and history of the beautiful township. You will get to finish your day with your very own handmade apple strudel for afternoon tea.
Hats, sunscreen and walking shoes are required for both tours
Wednesday 20 November - $100 per person
Travelling to two well-known farms in the Adelaide Hills region; starting at Jurlique Farm where you will be given a behind the scenes tour of where many of the herbs, flowers and plants are grown for the natural skin care products that is sold around most of the world. You will then head to Beerenberg Farm to visit the beautiful farm shop where you will get to hear about how the farm runs and taste some of the locally made produce, including fresh berries.
